Wordgasm is a portmanteau of words and orgasm, "word whoring" to put, an intellectual ejaculation of words and lexicons and sesquipedalians and googlewhacks and such, where cliches are strictly prohibited and stereotypes are burnt at stake. Nihil sub sole novum, the Ecclesiastes say; there is nothing new under the sun. It is only but the words that grant the world a whole new spectrum of perception. And the point is? I have no idea.
Call me Tobey. I'm twentyish, with a gender that involves a vagina. I live in Quezon City. And I go to the University of the Philippines, taking an academic course that requires a large vocabulary and stupendous amounts of imagination. How do you get that? You quaff a gallon of black coffee and gawk at your empty bank account. That would be enough inspiration. More »

Please give me a moment to pick up my jaw.

Finally conquered Mt. Pulag, the highest peak in Luzon. We took the Akiki-Ambangeg trail having a difficulty of 7/9. The inclination ranged from sixty to eighty degrees for about eighteen hours. o_o Extreme slopes, extreme cold, extreme oxygen depletion, but all worth the extreme jaw-dropping sights.

The experience is beyond compare to these high-resolution images, of course. (Swiped them off Martin's Multiply. Teeee.XD) Comparing the experience to these photos is like comparing eπ to 42. (Say whaaaaaaaat??XD Pardon me, but my metaphors have turned into ear wax.)

Landslide on the way to Ambuklao. Courtesy of typhoons Ondoy and Pekpek.

Akikikikikikiki. Birds up here sound like that.

Five minutes from the jump-off point.

Day 1 trail looked pretty much like this suicidal slippery shit.

Arr, Martin has taken me his model without my permission.

Angel looking like a shemale. Haha.XD

Marlboro Country.

Eddet foot-bridge serves as the jump-off point of day 2.
It looks waaaaaay holy fucking scarier than it is I swear to god.

Day 2 random trail. Day 2 climb took ten effing hours from 0800 to 1800.

Grassland of dwarfed bamboos, end of day 2.

Cigarette smoke of God.

Electrifying twilight from the summit, day 3.

Dawn. Words and photos fail to capture the moment.

Warming up.

Martin's shadow and Whatsisface Superman.

Heads up to my #1 favorite alcoholic writer, Kurt Vonnegut, Jr., who is celebrating his posthumous birthday today. He was born on the eleventh minute of the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month of 1922.

@Alyssa: I have no checklist. :p

@Jev: Part of the secret is drinking warm horse piss. Lol. Try it out yourself. Mine's about 75L heavy.

How to crap up a mountain: take a black plastic bag and shit innit inside the tent. It makes an excellent pillow. haha. Nah, just crap anywhere. Just be sure to hide it.

It gets more complicated though once you learn BMC.
