The Island Security Guard

Our secret island in northern Palawan is fully equipped with the strictest security and defense system.

But sometimes, or rather often, I discover our security guard asleep on duty.

I’m pretty sure his ears are alert to the island’s intruder alarm system.

Except when he’s eaten. He’s down to snooze, digesting dog food and bacon.

His sharp nails have clawed armies of invaders trying to colonize the island.

With a belly rub, invaders are charmed by his cuteness.

He lives by his one and only motto, “Pet me.”

Oreo, you have the most important responsibility in the entire Palawan archipelago.

And he says “hurf, hurf”. Very scary. Beware! :P

In the meantime, he’s off duty cos it’s lunchtime.
